It’s about time we explained Nonchalant London.
What is Nonchalant London?
Nonchalant London is a lifestyle website based in London that is written by Lesbians.
Established in July 2016, Nonchalant London originally started as a blog that focused on providing reviews on restaurants, music, events across London, and new products (from fashion through to wine), all written from a lesbian’s point of view. Not solely focusing on the LBQ community but providing a mix, because after all – just because you’re a lesbian, doesn’t mean you only go to Gay bars….Word.
The founders created the website as they felt there wasn’t a stylish website out there that you could find tips on fashion trends but also know what’s going on on the Lesbian scene, and that’s exactly what Nonchalant London aims to do – Keep you up to date with the latest trainers, make up, nice restaurants in London, stylish home-decor crazes and the occasional Lesbian focused event night…all in one place.
Due to our broad article topics our readers are a mix of genders and sexualities… so don’t worry Jane, just because you like reading Nonchalant London doesn’t mean you’re a lesbian (rolls eyes at stupid straight girl).
Who writes for Nonchalant London?
Originally, Nonchalant London started off with two writers. Over the past year we now have grown to a large team of eight writers covering all sorts of topics. Our writers are all lesbians living, working, and dating in London, who are all late twenty-somethings, and would describe themselves as far from the stereotypical view of a “lesbian”.
The team is made up of illustrators, creatives, marketers, tattoo enthusiast and coffee addicts and in general they research things so you don’t have to.
